High Clarity Polycarbonate Sheet Material

Product Description

PC sheet is a high-performance engineering plastic sheet made mainly from polycarbonate (PC) resin through extrusion, co extrusion, lamination and other processes. It has excellent impact resistance, optical transparency, weather resistance, and processing flexibility, and is widely used in fields such as construction, transportation, electronics, and industrial protection.

Classification

PC boards can be classified into the following main types based on their structure, function, and purpose:

(1) Solid board

Thickness range: 1mm~20mm

Features: High transparency (89% transmittance), ultra-high impact resistance (200 times that of glass), wide temperature resistance range (-40 ℃~+120 ℃).

Application: Explosion proof shield, machine protective cover, safety window, etc.

(2) Hollow board

Thickness range: 4mm~40mm

Structure: Multi layer hollow design (2-5 layers), lightweight (50% lighter than solid board), thermal insulation (thermal conductivity of 0.16 W/m · K).

Application: Building skylights, greenhouses, sound barriers, etc.

(3) Wave board

Thickness range: 0.8mm~2mm

Features: Wave shaped structure, enhanced mechanical strength, suitable for large-span roofs (such as carports and factories).

Application: Industrial plants, agricultural greenhouses, canopies, etc.

(4) Special function board

UV protection board: surface co extruded UV layer, resistant to UV aging (for outdoor use for more than 10 years).

Antistatic plate: Surface resistance of 10 ⁶~10 ⁹ Ω, used for electronic equipment protection.

Flame retardant board: compliant with UL 94 V-0 standard, suitable for places with strict fire protection requirements.

Matte/diffuser plate: optimizes light scattering, used for LED lampshades and advertising light boxes.
