Solid Polycarbonate PC Sheet for Advertising Boards
PC sheets (polycarbonate board) are high-performance plastic sheets made of polycarbonate (PC) resin through extrusion or molding. PC is an amorphous thermoplastic engineering plastic with extremely high impact strength, excellent heat resistance and light transmittance, smooth surface and easy processing. It is widely used in fields with high requirements for safety, durability and optical performance.
Product form:
Color: transparent, translucent, frosted.
Surface treatment: high gloss surface, anti-glare surface, UV coating (anti-ultraviolet), flame retardant coating, etc., to meet different environmental requirements.
Thickness range: solid board is usually 1mm to 250mm (special specifications can be customized).

Advantages
Impact resistance
The impact strength is 200-300 times that of ordinary glass and 20-30 times that of acrylic (PMMA). The unnotched impact strength can reach more than 2000 kJ/m², which is suitable for fragile or high-risk scenarios (such as explosion-proof doors and windows, protective covers).
Heat resistance and cold resistance
The heat deformation temperature is as high as 130-140℃, the short-term temperature resistance can reach 150℃, and the low-temperature brittle temperature is as low as -40℃, which is suitable for high and low temperature alternating environments (such as outdoor billboards, greenhouse skylights).
High light transmittance
The light transmittance is as high as 88%-91% (transparent grade), close to 92% of glass, and there is no significant dispersion or deformation after the light passes through, which is suitable for optical applications (such as lenses, lampshades).
Easy to process
The density is only 1/2 of glass (1.2 g/cm³), light weight and easy to cut, drill, hot bend, weld and other processes, and can be customized into complex shapes (such as curved surfaces and special-shaped parts).
Chemical corrosion resistance
It has good tolerance to most acids (such as dilute sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid), alkalis (such as sodium hydroxide), and organic solvents (such as ethanol, acetone), and is suitable for chemical and food contact environments.
UV anti-aging and weather resistance
After adding UV absorbers or coatings to the surface, it is not easy to yellow or become brittle when exposed to the outdoors for a long time (ultraviolet rays, wind and rain, high temperature), and the yellowing index ΔYI≤3 (1000 hours UV test), and the service life is more than 10 years.
Fireproof and flame retardant
The standard PC sheet has a flame retardant grade of UL94 V-2, which can be upgraded to V-0 (self-extinguishing when away from fire) by adding flame retardants, which complies with building fire protection regulations (such as EN 13501-1).
PC sheet has become an ideal substitute for glass, acrylic (PMMA) and ordinary plastics due to its super impact resistance, excellent weather resistance, high light transmittance and lightweight characteristics, and is widely used in the fields of construction, transportation, electronics, optics, agriculture, etc. Users can choose according to their specific needs to meet the performance requirements of diverse application scenarios.
