The T‑Shape Non‑Stop Butt‑Joint Paper Splicer series (rewinding unwinding and splicing)—ranging from models FL‑T600 to FL‑T2500—is engineered to automate the critical process of roll changeovers in high‑volume converting operations for the printing machine and the laminating machine. Designed for flexographic, offset, and wide‑web applications, these machines support paper and film weights from 100 to 450 g/m², and can operate continuously at web speeds of 20 to 350 m/min. The hallmark is its zero‑speed butt‑joint mechanism: once a roll nears its end, the web momentarily halts, the trailing edge is precisely aligned and trimmed with a scissor‑type cut, then an adhesive butt splice is applied. Unlike overlap splicers that add thickness and can disrupt downstream processes, this butt‑joint design creates a flush, tape‑reinforced connection that prevents crushing or buildup—a must for resin‑based flexo and corrugating lines. The T‑Shape layout provides stable support and easy access to splicing components, while the integrated lift‑and‑load system accommodates two full docks, enabling operators to load the next roll even while production continues. High‑precision servo drives govern the unwind spindles and festoon dancer, maintaining constant web tension and edge guidance via laser‑or‑sensor based EPC systems. As the splice completes, the festoon compensates seamlessly to supply the downstream line, effectively masking the roll change from the printing or laminating process. The result is a reliable, fully automated splice that preserves print quality, reduces waste, eliminates manual labor, and delivers a rapid return on investment—critical factors in today’s competitive packaging market.
