Colored High-Density Polyethylene Sheet (abbreviated as Colored HDPE Sheet) is a colored plastic sheet made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resin as the base material, which is blended by adding color masterbatch and then formed by extrusion or calendering. HDPE is a linear semi-crystalline thermoplastic resin polymerized by ethylene monomer under high or low pressure conditions. Its molecular chains are tightly arranged (the crystallinity is usually 60%-80%), giving the material high strength, high rigidity, chemical corrosion resistance and other characteristics; and colorization is achieved through the pigments or dyes in the masterbatch, which not only retains the inherent properties of HDPE, but also meets the functional requirements of visual identification and aesthetic design.
Since its industrial production in the 1950s, colored HDPE sheets have been widely used in chemical containers, advertising signs, architectural decoration, agricultural facilities and other fields due to their light weight, durability and easy processing, becoming a key material with both functionality and aesthetics in modern industrial and civil fields.

Colored high-density polyethylene sheets have become multifunctional materials in the fields of chemical industry, advertising, construction, agriculture, etc. due to their high strength, chemical corrosion resistance, precise color performance and easy processing. Its performance can be further optimized through modification technology (such as adding UV absorbers and flame retardants). Future development trends include:
Functional integration: Developing self-cleaning (hydrophobic coating), conductive (doped carbon nanotubes), antibacterial (silver ion masterbatch) colored HDPE sheets;
Sustainable upgrading: Promoting bio-based HDPE (raw materials derived from vegetable oils such as sugarcane and corn to ethylene) and chemical recycling processes;
high density polyethylene
Smart manufacturing adaptation: Optimizing 3D printing HDPE processes (such as fused deposition modeling FDM) to support customization of complex structural parts.
Colored HDPE sheets will continue to maintain their leading position in the field of "durable, beautiful, and environmentally friendly" materials, providing key support for improving the quality of global industry and life.
Summary of core advantages:
Physical and mechanical properties: tensile strength ≥ 25 MPa, bending strength ≥ 35 MPa, excellent fatigue resistance
Chemical resistance and environmental stability: strong acid and alkali resistance, UV aging resistance (outdoor life> 10 years)
Color performance: masterbatch is evenly dispersed, fading resistance ΔE<3 (outdoor 5 years)
Processing flexibility: thermoforming, machining, support for complex shape customization
