Product performance
Mechanical properties
​High elasticity and impact resistance: tensile strength 60-90MPa (higher than 40-60MPa of ordinary polyurethane), elongation at break 200%-400% (retaining the high elasticity of polyurethane), cantilever beam notch impact strength ≥8kJ/m² (normal temperature), can quickly recover deformation under dynamic load (such as vibration, impact), suitable for high-frequency friction or impact scenarios (such as gears, bearings).
​High rigidity: flexural modulus 3000-4500MPa (significantly higher than 2000-3000MPa of pure polyurethane), close to the rigidity level of PA6 (nylon 6) (flexural modulus about 2500-3000MPa), can withstand high static loads without deformation, suitable for structural support parts.
​Low creep: under long-term stress (such as continuous compression or stretching), deformation <5% (better than 10%-15% of ordinary polyurethane), excellent dimensional stability, suitable for long-term use of precision parts.
 
Thermal properties
​High temperature resistance: heat deformation temperature (under 1.82MPa load) is about 100-130℃ (higher than 80-100℃ of pure polyurethane), short-term resistance to high temperature of 150℃ (such as short-term overheating environment in automobile engine compartment), long-term use temperature range of -30℃ to 120℃ (meet the needs of most industrial environments).
​Low thermal expansion coefficient: about 8-10×10⁻⁵/℃ (close to metal, better than 12-15×10⁻⁵/℃ of ordinary polyurethane), high dimensional stability in temperature fluctuation environment, suitable for precision instrument parts.

Chemical properties
​Oil resistance and solvent resistance: no expansion or softening (volume change rate <3%) after long-term immersion in mineral oil, hydraulic oil, silicone oil, etc., gasoline and diesel resistance is better than pure polyurethane (volume change rate is reduced by more than 50%), suitable for automobile gearbox and hydraulic system parts.
​Chemical corrosion resistance: Stable to weak acids (such as acetic acid), weak bases (such as sodium carbonate) and salt solutions, but limited tolerance to strong oxidants (such as concentrated nitric acid), aromatic hydrocarbons (such as toluene) and ketones (such as acetone) (long-term contact should be avoided).
​Hydrolysis resistance: Water absorption rate <0.3% (lower than 1%-2% of pure polyurethane), dimensional stability in humid environment is better than ordinary polyurethane, suitable for parts in high humidity environment.
 
Electrical properties
​Insulation: Volume resistivity ≥10¹³Ω·cm, dielectric strength 18-25kV/mm, a good insulating material, suitable for low-voltage electrical components; but the dielectric constant increases slightly after moisture absorption (seal protection should be noted).
 
Processing performance
​Easy to process: Precision parts (tolerance up to ±0.05mm) can be made through turning, drilling, milling and other mechanical processing methods, with a surface roughness of Ra≤0.6μm; hot air welding (temperature 200-250℃) and bonding (such as polyurethane special glue) are supported, suitable for repairing complex structural parts or customized production.
​Lightweight: Density 1.15-1.25g/cm³ (slightly higher than 1.10-1.15g/cm³ of pure polyurethane), only 1/7 of steel and 1/4 of aluminum, suitable for weight-sensitive application scenarios.
 
Other characteristics
​High wear resistance: Akron abrasion test value ≤0.02cm³/1.61km (better than 0.03-0.05cm³/1.61km of pure polyurethane), surface hardness (Shore D 60-70) is between rubber and plastic, suitable for high sliding friction parts (such as conveyor belt rollers, machine tool guide rails).
​Aging resistance: After adding UV inhibitors (such as carbon black or hindered amine light stabilizers), there is no significant yellowing or performance degradation after 2000 hours of outdoor exposure (tensile strength retention rate > 90%), which is suitable for long-term outdoor use.

Product advantages
Balanced composite modification performance
PU Polyester rods combine the high elasticity and wear resistance of polyurethane with the high rigidity and chemical resistance of polyester through the molecular composite of polyurethane and polyester chain segments, solving the contradiction between pure polyurethane "high elasticity but insufficient rigidity" and pure polyester "high rigidity but poor wear resistance". For example, in the application of automotive transmission synchronizer rings, its rigidity is close to PA6 (can withstand high torque), and its wear resistance is better than PA6 (wear rate is reduced by 30%). At the same time, its oil resistance meets the needs of long-term contact with gear oil.
 
Oil resistance and chemical corrosion resistance
It has no swelling or softening (volume change rate <3%) after long-term immersion in mineral oil, hydraulic oil, etc., and its resistance to gasoline and diesel is better than pure polyurethane (volume change rate is reduced by more than 50%), which is suitable for automotive transmissions and hydraulic system components. In scenes such as chemical storage tank gaskets and oil pipeline linings, its acid and alkali resistance (performance attenuation <5% under pH 3-10 environment) can replace rubber or ordinary plastics to avoid the risk of leakage caused by chemical medium erosion.
 
High wear resistance and low friction
The wear value of Akron is ≤0.02cm³/1.61km (only 1/2 of PA6 and 1/3 of POM), and the surface hardness is moderate (Shore D 60-70), which not only ensures wear resistance, but also avoids energy loss caused by excessive friction coefficient. In high sliding friction scenarios such as mining machinery linings and conveyor belt guides, the service life is 2-3 times longer than that of pure polyurethane, and the maintenance cost is reduced by more than 50%.
 
High temperature resistance and dimensional stability
The heat deformation temperature reaches 100-130℃ (higher than 80-100℃ of pure polyurethane), and it can withstand high temperatures of 150℃ in a short period of time. It can still maintain rigidity and strength in high temperature environments such as automobile engine compartments and industrial drying equipment, avoiding deformation or failure due to softening. The low thermal expansion coefficient (8-10×10⁻⁵/℃) makes it have a small deformation in a temperature fluctuation environment, which is suitable for precision instrument components (such as sensor housings and gearbox bushings).
