What are the requirements of roller printing machine for heat transfer oil?

It is a very common process for roller printing machine to use heat transfer oil as a medium for heat transfer. First, the heat transfer oil is heated after the heating tube is heated up, and the heat transfer oil enclosed in the roller slowly transfers the heat to the roller surface. The heat transfer oil plays a key role in the stability of the temperature control of the roller printing machine.

1. Temperature matching

The working temperature of the roller printing machine is usually 100-250℃, and the working temperature of the heat transfer oil should be 30-50℃ higher than the roller temperature to avoid oil decomposition and coking due to local overheating.

2. Good thermal stability

Synthetic heat transfer oil such as alkylbenzene and benzyltoluene heat transfer oil are preferred. The thermal stability is better than mineral oil, the oxidation resistance is strong, the service life is long (usually 3-5 years), and it is suitable for medium and high temperature (200-300℃) printing process. It is the mainstream choice of roller printing machine.

3. Consider safety and environmental protection

Choose heat transfer oil with high flash point (≥180℃) and high autoignition point, and give priority to heat transfer oil with non-toxic, low volatility and environmental protection standards to reduce the impact on operators and the environment.

Heat transfer oil will evaporate and decompose during use, and heat transfer oil of the same brand as the original one in the roller should be added in time.
