PEG-20 Glyceryl Trisostearate is a colorless to light yellow transparent liquid, commonly used as the main emulsifier for makeup remover products, with an HLB value of 8 and excellent self-emulsifying properties.It can bring a refreshing and non-greasy skin feeling, and has good compatibility with most moisturizing oils. The packaging specification is 17kg/drum or 25kg /drum.The recommended addition amount is 5-20%, which is adjusted according to the product type. It is suitable for makeup remover oil, makeup remover cream, oil-free makeup remover products and gel-type makeup remover products.

How it work

PEG-20 Glyceryl Trisostearate is synthesized by a two-step reaction.The first step is the reaction of glycerol with isostearic acid to form a hydrophobic triisostearate core, giving the ingredients low viscosity and light skin feel; the second step is the ethoxylation reaction of the core, introducing 20 ethylene oxide units to form a hydrophilic PEG chain segment.These segments can balance the oil-water interface, allowing the ingredients to quickly self-emulsify when they come into contact with moisture, while ensuring compatibility with a variety of oils and cosmetic raw materials, maintaining formula stability and good sense of use.
