Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate is a nonionic emulsifier derived from natural plant raw materials. It is prepared by esterification of methyl glucose and stearic acid to form a sugar ester surfactant with a dual hydrophilic and lipophilic structure. The ingredient appears as white to slightly yellow particles, is stable at room temperature, can be well dispersed in water under heating and stirring conditions, and can build a uniform and delicate emulsion system in the formula. It is insoluble in water itself, but has good oil phase solubility and can also be stably present in organic solvents such as ethanol.
