Crocodile Shear Hydraulic Guillotine Shearing Machine

Usage of Crocodile Shear:

It is mainly used in waste recycling enterprises, scrap steel mills, smelting and foundry enterprises, etc., to shear various shapes of steel and various structures of metal in cold state, and process them into qualified furnace charges and materials, and can also be used for cutting hot-rolled small steel to length.

How Metal Guillotine Machine works:

Hydraulic drive is usually used, and the hydraulic cylinder is driven by the pressure provided by the hydraulic pump to form the lever pressure. Under the control of the electromagnetic reversing valve and the oil circuit, the lifting and contraction of the oil cylinder are realized, the oil cylinder is pushed up to press the upper crocodile downwards by using the lever principle, after the auxiliary locking oil cylinder prepresses and locks the material, the main oil cylinder is continuously pushed up, so that the upper crocodile moving knife and the lower crocodile fixed knife realize interactive shearing, thereby shearing the material entering the incision.

Characteristic of Metal Shear:

1. Drive mode: hydraulic drive, easy to operate, simple maintenance.

2. Various specifications: the working blade length is 400mm, 600mm, 700mm, 800mm, 1000mm, 1200mm, etc., and the shearing force is 8 grades from 63 tons to 400 tons, which can meet different shearing requirements.

3. Flexible installation: foot screws are not required for installation, and diesel engine can be used as power in places without power supply.

4. Superior performance: Compared with the mechanical transmission shearing machine, it has the advantages of small size, light weight, small inertia, low noise, stable action, large shearing section, convenient adjustment of scissors edge, and easy to realize overload protection.

Safety operation procedures of Crocodile Shear:

1. Specially-assigned person: The equipment shall be operated by a designated person, and shall not be used by those who have not been trained.

2. Check before use: check whether each part is normal and whether the fasteners are firm before driving.

3. It is forbidden to cut specific materials: it is forbidden to cut unannealed steel parts, cast iron parts, soft metal parts, too thin workpieces, workpieces with a length of less than 100 mm and workpieces exceeding the length of scissors.

4. Operation safety: During operation, the human body is not allowed to get close to the transmission part and knife edge of the equipment. When cutting short materials, the hand-held workpiece shall not be used for feeding, and the clamp shall be used for feeding.

5. Operation and maintenance: When the equipment is running, the operator shall not leave the post without authorization. When the work is completed or the operator leaves the post temporarily, the power supply shall be cut off, and the machine shall not be repaired or the moving parts shall not be touched by hand.
