The main structure of the fully automatic pad printer

Linear automatic pad printer

Around the main structure of the pad printer, all the procedures from loading, positioning, pre-press processing, pad printing, ink drying, unloading, etc. are distributed on a straight line. If this type of automatic pad printer is multi-color, multiple pad printers are arranged side by side to complete the first color, the second color, and all printing processes in turn.

Rotary automatic pad printer

Around the main structure of the pad printer, all the procedures from loading, positioning, pre-press processing, pad printing, ink drying, unloading, etc. are distributed around a disc to become a rotary pad printer. If the rotary pad printer involves multiple colors, the multi-color pad printers are distributed above the turntable. The rotary pad printer has high printing accuracy and is easy to be equipped with a robot for loading and unloading.

Why do linear automatic pad printers mostly use a structure where the oil cup moves left and right?

Automatic pad printers are generally divided into two types according to the way the products are transported. One is a turntable automatic pad printer and the other is a linear automatic pad printer. The oil cup movement of the turntable automatic pad printer can be a structure that moves in the front and back direction or in the left and right direction, while the linear automatic pad printer has an obvious tendency to use a structure where the oil cup moves left and right. The reasons are as follows

1 Efficiency requirements

The oil cup moves left and right, and its stroke can usually reach 300mm or even larger. The printing area of the pad printer is also expanded accordingly, and the number of products transported through the workbench at the same time will also increase. For regular products, more products can be transported at a time. By optimizing the arrangement of the products, 8-10 products can be printed at a time, and the production efficiency is doubled.

2. Simplified structure:

For pad printers with the ink cup moving left and right, a longer space is usually reserved at the front end of the product conveying for positioning the product according to certain requirements. At the same time, a flame treatment or plasma treatment device can be installed to improve the adhesion of the ink. The machine is equipped with an automatic rubber head cleaning device, which will not increase the front and rear dimensions of the pad printer, so that the size of the pad printer is more reasonable and more convenient for placement.

3. Multi-color pad printing

Although the pad printer with the oil cup moving left and right is not as compact and flexible as the pad printer with the oil cup moving forward and backward when printing multiple colors, it is more accurate when multiple pad printers are connected for multi-color pad printing, because each color does not interfere with each other.
