NSOAF ™ 2EHS (Ethylhexyl stearate) is a transparent, low viscosity liquid ester material made by reacting stearic acid with 2-ethylhexanol. This synthetic oil balances lubrication and evaporation rate very well, and when applied to the skin, it will have a dry and smooth feeling without leaving any sticky residue. It has good thixotropy, which can bring a smooth application feeling, delicate texture, and comfortable user experience. It can also help the oil phase and water phase components blend evenly into an emulsion system, making the product less likely to deteriorate even after long-term storage; As a commonly used synthetic oil in skincare products, sunscreen, and base makeup, it not only improves the texture and feel of the product, but also helps the formula achieve a light and delicate effect.
Ⅱ. Core Features
1. Good extensibility: It can be evenly spread on the skin or hair without local accumulation of material, and it absorbs quickly, making it very smooth to use.
2. Non greasy skin texture: It feels dry and velvety to the touch, especially suitable for products that want to achieve a soft mist makeup effect or powdery skin texture. There will be no oily burden after use.
3. Structural stability: When processing formulas, even if subjected to mechanical external forces such as heating, oxidation, or stirring, its structure is not easily damaged and its performance is stable.
4. Strong compatibility: It can blend well with mineral oil, silicone oil, and other ester raw materials, allowing formulators to design products without too many restrictions and with greater flexibility.
5. Enhanced emulsification: When used together with an emulsifier makeup system, it can improve the emulsification effect, make the product texture more uniform, and prevent delamination.
Ⅲ. Functional performance in the formula
Added to skincare and body care products, NSOAF ™ 2EHS can be used as an moisturizer and moisturizer to make the skin surface softer, feel better, and be more comfortable to use.
Used in sunscreen, it can help the UV filter disperse better and enhance the waterproof effect of the sunscreen, making the sunscreen last longer.
When added to the base makeup, it can better wet and wrap the pigments, making the base makeup smoother to apply. Moreover, it can maintain a comfortable skin feel for a long time after being applied to the face, without easily sticking or peeling off the makeup.
Placed in hair care products, it can reduce friction between hair, make hair easier to comb, and also help increase hair shine without making hair thicker or sticking to the scalp.
Ⅳ. Application and Storage
Recommended addition amount: Adjust according to the type of product to be made, generally adding 1% -5% is sufficient, and the specific amount can be flexibly adjusted according to the desired skin feel and functionality.
Packaging specification: 180 kilograms per barrel.
Storage conditions: Keep in a cool, dry, and ventilated place, with an ambient temperature not exceeding 30 ℃, and avoid direct sunlight exposure.
