The Pneumatic Diaphragm Single Seat Control Valve DN40 (1‑1/2 inch) is designed for higher flow capacities, offering Cv values from 25 to 50, making it suitable for main process lines in food, beverage, and pulp & paper industries. Its full‑port, streamlined body minimizes pressure drop while providing excellent throttling characteristics. The actuator is a heavy‑duty diaphragm unit with oversized springs to handle high shut‑off pressures, ensuring tight sealing even against differentials up to 4.0 MPa. This valve is commonly employed in paper stock approach systems, controlling the flow of thick pulp to the headbox, where it acts as a Flow Control Valve to maintain consistent basis weight. In sugar refineries, it regulates the flow of syrup and molasses, while in breweries it controls wort and chilled water for fermentation temperature management.
