The Self Operated Pressure Regulating Valve is a high‑performance, pilot‑operated or direct‑spring regulator designed for medium‑to‑high pressure control applications in steam, water, air, and non‑corrosive gases. It operates entirely on process energy, eliminating the need for external instrument air or electricity, which makes it ideal for remote locations and hazardous areas. The valve features a rugged, one‑piece cast iron or steel body with an integral strainer and pressure tapping ports. Its sensing element – either a diaphragm or bellows – is selected based on the pressure range and temperature, ensuring accurate and repeatable control. The regulator can handle inlet pressures up to 4.0 MPa and outlet pressure ranges from 0.05 to 2.5 MPa, with an adjustable set‑point via a compression spring.
