PEG-20 Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate is a nonionic emulsifier with both emollient and surfactant effects. It is a yellow paste with a faint fatty odor and an HLB value of about 15. It is an oil-in-water (O/W) emulsifier. It can remain stable in the pH range of 4.0 to 8.5 in the formula. Its preparation process is a unique nonionic emulsifier made from natural glucose as the starting material. When used with GLUCOSS, it forms a pair of complementary emulsifiers with better safety and emulsification performance than commonly used emulsifiers. It is non-irritating to the eyes and skin. The emulsion prepared with this emulsifier pair can be stored for five years or even longer, and the appearance remains delicate and bright. The usual addition ratio is between 1% and 5%.
