The main structure of the turntable screen printer:
Turntable worktable system
Divider: such as the cam divider, which converts the continuous rotation of the motor into intermittent motion, so that the turntable can achieve precise indexing and positioning, ensuring the accuracy of each station.
• Turntable: Usually circular, it is a carrier for placing the workpiece to be printed, and can be designed into different sizes and materials as needed.
• Station fixture: installed on the turntable, used to fix the workpiece to be printed to ensure the accurate position of the workpiece during the printing process, such as pneumatic fixtures, mechanical fixtures, etc.

Screen printing system
• Screen installation mechanism: used to fix the screen printing plate to ensure the stability and accuracy of the screen during the printing process. It can usually be adjusted up and down, left and right, and front and back.
• Scraper assembly: It consists of a scraper and an ink return knife. The scraper is used to scrape the ink from the screen so that the ink is transferred to the surface of the workpiece through the mesh of the screen; the ink return knife is responsible for scraping the excess ink on the screen back to the ink tank.
Control system
• PLC controller: It can perform logical control on motors, cylinders, sensors and other equipment to achieve precise coordination and sequential control of various actions such as the rotation of the turntable, the lifting of the screen, and the movement of the scraper.
• Human-machine interface: The operator sets printing parameters such as printing speed, scraper pressure, turntable rotation angle, etc. through the touch screen or control panel, and can monitor the operating status of the equipment in real time.
Auxiliary system
• Loading device: It realizes automatic loading of workpieces, such as conveyor belts, loading manipulators, etc.

How to improve the printing accuracy of the turntable screen printer?
  •  Optimize the mechanical structure
Turntable positioning accuracy: Use a high-precision divider (such as a cam divider) to ensure that the repeated positioning error is within 0.01-0.05mm when switching between workstations; the turntable table is precisely ground to ensure horizontality and rigidity. The scraper holder is guided by a linear guide and driven by a servo motor; the screen lifting is guided by a linear guide and driven by a servo motor. The encoder is used to monitor the turntable speed and angle in real time, and the proximity switch or photoelectric sensor is used to locate the workstation to ensure that the deviation of the workpiece when it stops at the printing position is ≤0.03mm.
  • Control process parameters
The ink scraper of the rotary screen printer is pneumatically controlled. The pressure sensor is used to monitor the scraper pressure in real time to ensure that the pressure fluctuation is ≤±0.2N; coordinate the rotary speed, scraper running speed and screen separation speed; CNC is used for quantitative processing of fixtures to ensure the standardization of fixtures and ensure that each product is placed in the same position on the workbench; the rubber scraper must have a certain hardness. If it is worn, it must be sharpened with a rubber scraper sharpener. Regularly calibrate the sensors, dividers, and linear guides.
  • Reduce external interference
   The rotary screen printer should be installed on a solid and level foundation, the anchor screws should be fixed, the temperature and humidity of the workshop should be kept stable (temperature 20±2℃, humidity 50±5%), and the moving parts of the machine should be frequently filled with lubricating oil for lubrication.
Through the above measures, the rotary screen printer can control the printing alignment accuracy within ±0.05mm, meeting the high-precision requirements of precision electronics, medical equipment, automotive instruments and other fields.
 
What is a divider?
    A divider is a mechanical transmission device that realizes intermittent motion. It is used to convert continuous rotational motion into periodic pause-rotation or swinging intermittent motions. It is widely used in special printing equipment such as pad printers, screen printers, hot stamping machines, and thermal transfer machines.
