Introduction

Cannulated tibial nail is an orthopedic implant used to fix tibial fractures. It is an intramedullary nail inserted into the tibial bone marrow canal, providing stable fixation and promoting bone healing.

Indications

Tibia nail surgery steps

1. Confirm the opening position

On the anteroposterior view, the opening is located on the axis of the medullary cavity, on the lateral tuberosity of the ankle protrusion. On the lateral view, located at the anterior edge of the tibial plateau.
