Usage and characters

      The zipper consists of two toothed cloth strips and a slidable puller. When the puller slides, the teeth can mesh or separate with each other, thereby closing and opening the object. It is widely used in clothing, backpacks, tents and other items. The toothed belt of the zipper can be plastic or metal. When it is made of plastic, hot foil stamping and thermal transfer processes are used to decorate its surface with colors to improve its aesthetics.

      Zipper hot stamping machine and thermal transfer machine are special hot stamping equipment. Since the lock part of the zipper is higher than the cloth strip it is connected to, the lock part is usually fixed during hot stamping and thermal transfer, that is, a groove is set on the workbench of the hot stamping machine and thermal transfer machine, and the width of the groove is just equal to the lock part of the zipper, so that the position of the zipper can be fixed during the hot stamping and transfer process.

     Zippers are generally supplied in rolls, so zipper hot stamping machines and zipper heat transfer machines also use roll-to-roll motion, that is, one set of winding devices is used to install hot stamping foil, and the other set of winding devices is used to install zippers. The hot stamping foil will be deposited on the zipper and enter the silicone roller hot stamping device. Driven by the motor, the zipper and the hot stamping foil move synchronously, and the hot stamping foil will be transferred to the zipper.
