1) For plastic products, the thermal transfer machine can be used to directly transfer the pattern to the product surface. Because the transfer process depends on the matching of the thermal transfer film and the product material, and the matching depends on the properties of the adhesive layer of the thermal transfer film. The current thermal transfer film has been very mature and adapted to the surface characteristics of most plastic materials such as polyolefins, polyesters, ABS, polyethers, and organic glass.

2) For non-absorbent materials such as glass, ceramics, and metals, it is currently difficult to produce matching thermal transfer films. If hot stamping or thermal transfer is required on their surface, a layer of glass varnish, ceramic varnish or metal varnish must be printed first, and then the transfer is performed. The indirect thermal transfer process uses the same hot stamping machine and thermal transfer machine.
