Machine details

Two-color shuttle pad printers are generally composed of the following parts:
- Workbench: The workbench can be adjusted up and down, left and right, front and back, and angle to ensure that the pad printing position meets user needs. The shuttle table of the workbench can be controlled by pneumatic or servo motor.
- Operation panel: The operation panel is used to control the movement of the entire pad printer. Simpler pad printers are controlled by microcomputers, and complex pad printers are controlled by PLC and touch screen.
- Ink supply system: It is the place where ink is placed. There are two structures on the market, one is an open oil pan structure, and the other is a closed oil cup structure.
- Pad printing system: It is a device that transfers ink to the product. It is composed of one or more sets of rubber head devices. The rubber head device changes position on the printing plate and the product. Its movement can be controlled by pneumatic or servo motor.
- Power source: Most pad printers are driven by pneumatic components, so air compressors are required to provide compressed air. There are also pure electric pad printers on the market that do not require compressed air.
- Additional devices: In order to continuously improve the printing quality of the pad printer and reduce the labor intensity of the operator, the pad printer will also be equipped with a pre-press device, a pad cleaning device, a drying device, a positioning sensor and a safety grating.
Pneumatic shuttle workbench and servo shuttle workbench
The multi-color pad printer was originally equipped with a pneumatic shuttle workbench. Now the servo shuttle workbench is gradually replacing the pneumatic shuttle workbench: The differences between the pneumatic shuttle workbench and the servo shuttle workbench are as follows:
Pneumatic shuttle workbench: The cylinder is driven by the solenoid valve to provide power, and the pressure difference formed by the compressed air at both ends of the cylinder piston is used to drive the workbench. The servo shuttle workbench is driven by a servo motor, and cooperates with transmission structures such as precision screws or synchronous belts to drive the movement of the workbench.
The acceleration and deceleration of the pneumatic shuttle workbench are difficult to control accurately, there is a slight impact when starting and stopping, the positioning accuracy is low, the repeatability is slightly poor, and it is greatly affected by air pressure fluctuations. The servo shuttle workbench can achieve smooth acceleration and deceleration without obvious impact, the positioning accuracy can reach ±0.01mm, the repeatability is good, and it is not affected by external power source fluctuations.
The stop position of the pneumatic shuttle worktable is generally controlled by the positioning block. The wear of the positioning block will affect the positioning accuracy, and the stop position is basically fixed and cannot be adjusted randomly; the stop position of the servo shuttle worktable can be randomly set according to the printing requirements and stay at any position. Its positioning is controlled by the servo motor and the lead screw, and there is basically no wear problem.
