Adaptability to work environment
High temperature resistance:
DPP2000 aramid conveyor belt: It has high heat resistance and fire resistance, and can work continuously at temperatures up to 200 ° C. It can adapt to the transportation needs of high-temperature materials such as clinker in cement plants and sintered ore in steel plants.
Steel wire rope conveyor belt: It has good heat resistance and can generally work at higher temperatures, but the high temperature resistance of different types of steel wire rope conveyor belts varies. The high temperature resistance range of ordinary types is usually between -40 ℃ and+800 ℃.
Comparison: Aramid conveyor belts perform well in high temperature resistance and can meet some special working conditions with high temperature requirements.
Corrosion resistance:
DPP2000 aramid conveyor belt: aramid itself has superior resistance to media, excellent chemical and corrosion resistance, and is not easily affected by external environments such as water vapor, corrosive minerals, etc. It can maintain good performance in humid and corrosive gas environments or when transporting corrosive materials, extending its service life.
Steel wire rope conveyor belt: Steel wire rope is easily corroded by water vapor and other factors, which affects its strength. Especially in environments with long-term humidity or corrosive media, problems such as steel wire rope corrosion and wire breakage may occur, thereby affecting the service life of the conveyor belt.
Comparison: The corrosion resistance of aramid conveyor belts is significantly better than that of steel wire rope conveyor belts.
Intelligent management:
DPP2000 aramid conveyor belt: Some products have embedded RF chips, which, when combined with a chip reading system, can achieve tracking and management of conveyor belt lifecycle information, retrieval and recording of conveyor belt identity information, and recording and management of conveyor system maintenance information; Realize the positioning/fixed-point shutdown of the conveyor belt at characteristic positions, and be able to link with other intelligent monitoring systems to ensure the safe and effective operation of the conveyor belt.
Steel wire rope conveyor belt: It usually requires external detection equipment and methods for regular inspection and maintenance, such as X-ray photography to determine the degree of damage, and relatively lacks built-in intelligent management functions.
Comparison: Aramid conveyor belts have obvious advantages in intelligent management, which can better achieve real-time monitoring and management of conveyor belts.
