This part is a precision metal structural component in aerospace systems. It is made of high-quality metal materials and integrally formed through CNC turning and precision machining processes. The part structure includes multi-stage steps, precision inner holes, and high-precision external threads. It has strict requirements on coaxiality, roundness, and surface quality, and is suitable for key parts such as pressure-bearing, connection, or fluid/sensing interfaces.
During the machining process, critical dimensions are completed in a single clamping to ensure the coaxial consistency of each functional surface and assembly reliability; the threaded parts adopt precision cutting technology to guarantee smooth assembly and long-term stability. All functional surfaces undergo refined chamfering and deburring treatments to reduce stress concentration and enhance service reliability.
During the manufacturing process of such aerospace precision machined parts, the control of dimensional and geometric tolerances is strictly implemented in accordance with the design drawings and relevant standards. The key structural dimensions are usually controlled within ±0.01 mm, and the functional fitting parts can be further tightened to ±0.005 mm according to assembly requirements. For inner holes, outer circles and step parts involving assembly and sealing performance, emphasis is placed on controlling coaxiality, roundness and perpendicularity. The coaxiality is generally controlled to be ≤0.02 mm to ensure assembly reliability and long-term use stability.
The threaded parts are processed using precision cutting technology and controlled according to standard grades. The conventional implementation is 6H / 6g or equivalent tolerance grades to ensure smooth assembly, consistency in repeated assembly, and anti-vibration performance. All sharp edges and functional edges are uniformly chamfered and deburred to reduce stress concentration and improve the service safety of the parts.
In terms of inspection, first article inspection (FAI), in-process inspection (IPQC) and outgoing quality control (OQC) are carried out throughout the entire production process. Key dimensions and geometric tolerances are inspected using a coordinate measuring machine (CMM). Threads are inspected with go-no-go gauges, and when necessary, inspection methods such as roundness testers and special fixtures for coaxiality are used. Inspection data can be recorded and archived according to project requirements to ensure that products have complete quality traceability and meet the requirements for precision, reliability and consistency in the aerospace field.
