This precision long-rod nozzle is manufactured integrally using a Swiss-type sliding headstock lathe (Swiss Turning). The workpiece is fully supported by a guide sleeve, which effectively suppresses the vibration and deformation of the slender shaft during high-speed cutting, ensuring the stability of the overall straightness and coaxiality. During the machining process, precision turning of the outer diameter, cone forming, precision contouring of the end, tiny threading of the tail, and chamfering are completed in one clamping. The key dimensions can be controlled within ±0.005 mm. The surface can achieve a fine finish of Ra ≤0.8 μm, meeting the stringent requirements for micro long-shaft nozzles in medical, precision fluid control, and high-end industrial equipment.

Why choos Swiss turning process for Precision Long Nozzle:

Critical outer diameter, length, cone surface and thread dimensions are subject to full-size inspection using a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), with a focus on controlling coaxiality, straightness and end contour accuracy. The microstructure at the front end of the nozzle is inspected under magnification using an optical microscope to ensure there are no burrs or deformations. The threaded part is verified for assembly reliability using go-no-go gauges and assembly jigs. All parts undergo cleaning and appearance re-inspection before shipment to ensure a clean surface, consistent dimensions, and meet the requirements for batch assembly and long-term stable use.
