Double convex lens also known as bi convex lens is the most typical positive lens in an optical system. both sides are convex, with the middle part being thick and edges being thin, have positive focal length, two convex surfaces with equal radius of curve, commonly used in camera,microscopes and telescopes, also focusing or alignment on laser processing and fiber coupling.
