Single Crystal Silicon Window have highly ordered, with few impurities and excellent optical uniformity structure,primarily applicable to the infrared wavelength 1.2-7um, completely opaque in visible light, mechanical properties is high hardness, resistant to wear, commonly used thermal imaging, infrared spectrometer ,laser transmission etc.
As an observation window, used in vacum chambers or reaction chambers with high temperature resistance and corrosion esistance similar with sapphire window.
Silicon window also as high power laser window:low absorption rate in the infrared band, suitalbe for Co2 Laser,this point Znse window also suitable for this wavelength.

Transmission wavelength mainly 1.2-8um near infrared to mid infrared, 3-5um MWIR standard material
High hardenss and wear resistance, low density with excellent heat conductivity, suitable for military/vehicle equipment with high requirements for weight and wear resistance
