Optical Spherical lens is an optical device which light can converge or diverge

A convex lens is thicker in the middle and thinner at the edges, Plano Convex lens( PCX) lens have one surface is flat and one surface is convex sphere, it can be single element or two or multiple elements, plano convex(PCX) lens and double convex(DCX) lens used for light application, aiming and focusing.

A concave lens is thicker at the edges and thinner in the middle, concave lens includes the plano concave lens and concave meniscus lens, Plano Concave(PCV) lens and Double Concave(DCV)lens used for expanded projected rays and expanded focal length of the optical system
